Lancaster County Sports Hall of Fame honored 10 at its 2025 banquet at the Eden Resort, 222 Eden Road, Lancaster.
Receiving the J. Freeland Chryst Sports Achievement Award and induction into the hall of fame was Emma and Brooke DeBerdine (Penn Manor, field hockey), Jeff Glass (McCaskey, football, soccer, wrestling, track), Casey Kaufhold (Conestoga Valley, Olympic archery) and Barry Stumpf (Golden Gloves, boxing).
George Derbyshire, retired Manheim Central athletic director, was the 2025 George W. Kirchner Award recipient.
Other award winners are Lucian Li (Inspirational Athlete of the Year) and Ken Gerber (Volunteer of the Year). The 2025 LNP | LancasterOnline High School Senior Athletes of the Year — Manheim Township's Adam Kingston and Lebanon's Kailah Correa— were recognized as well.
