Lancaster County Sports Hall of Fame banquet will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the Eden Resort, 222 Eden Road, Lancaster, beginning at 4:30 p.m. with dinner at 6. The banquet will honor our 2024 Inductees and Award Winners. Ticket price is $35.
Receiving the J. Freeland Chryst Sports Achievement Award and induction into the hall of fame are former Barbara Barr (McCaskey, basketball, tennis, softball), Damien Henry (McCaskey, football, basketball, track), Kyle Salyards (Hempfield, swimming) and Kris Wilson (McCaskey, football).
Pete Horn, McCaskey basketball coach and athletic director, will be honored as the 2024 George W. Kirchner Award recipient.
Other award winners will be Dakota Nesbitt (Inspirational Athlete of the Year) and Ken Riley (Volunteer of the Year). The 2024 LNP | LancasterOnline High School Senior Athletes of the Year — Manheim Central's Aaron Enterline and Manheim Township's Brenna Campagna — will be recognized as well.
