Aiden Sola will compete as a center and defensive tackle for the Cocalico High School football team in 2026. The Eagles are looking to improve from last year's middle-of-the-pack standings in Lancaster-Lebanon League Section Three.
Sola sees Cocalico’s offense, and especially offensive line, much improved this year with several returners. His teammates plan to have an unbreakable bond and rally around a quote to “BE MORE!”
Ephrata is Cocalico’s neighboring rival for years, even if the Mounts are not in Section Three - the Eagles will travel to Ephrata in Week Two.
In Section Three, Sola sees Solanco as the team to beat.
One of Sola's goals as a third-year starter, other than Cocalico winning, is to be named “Lineman of the Week” and become an All-Section Three Lineman.
Sola will also wrestle for this winter for the fourth year in a row at heavy weight for Cocalico and plans to play lacrosse in the spring.
In school, math attracts Sola's interest as well as business courses, though a favorite extracurricular club is “PE Gym Games Club” where he particularly likes “floor hockey.”
His favorite football teams are Penn State and Las Vegas Raiders!
After high school, Sola plans to study business and finance at West Chester University.
