Coach and athletic Director Elizabethtown College 1928-1951. Ira played an influential role in building Elizabethtown from the ground up coaching men's soccer, men's/women's tennis, and cross country. As a coach he led the Blue Jays to a MAC championship in 1959, NAIA National co[championship 1960, and NAIA national runner-up 1959.
