Brenna Campagna, a two-sport standout in field hockey and lacrosse, was the catalyst for Manheim Township’s rising field hockey program.

After leading the Blue Streaks (21-2-1) to the Lancaster-Lebanon League championship, she helped lead them to their first-ever PIAA District 3 Championship with a 2-1 OT win over traditional power Lower Dauphin. That ultimately led to their initial appearance in PIAA Class AAA State Championship game, in which they dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker to state power Emmaus.

A two-year captain, Campagna, who played center-mid, had a part in 31% of the Streaks' 116 goals, scoring 20 and assisting on 15 others.

She was a 2023 L-L League Section One first team all-star and a member of the All L-L League team. She was named to the 2023 MAX Pennsylvania All-State First Team and to the 2023 MAX National All-America Second Team.

As a captain in lacrosse, Campagna was part of the Township dynasty that has won the past three District 3 Class AAA titles. In her senior season, the Streaks went 18-2 and advanced to the PIAA semifinals, where they dropped a hard-fought, 5-4 2OT game to eventual state champion Conestoga.

She also received the E. Jerry Brooks Award for excellence in academics and athletics and E. Landis Brackbill Award as the top female student athlete in the L-L League.

Brenna had the opportunity to play both sports with her twin sister, Callie. Brenna will play field hockey this fall at Wake Forest University. Callie will play lacrosse for the University of Cincinnati.
