Bohannon was a classic throwback athlete for the Elco Raiders, excelling in football, basketball and baseball. He was a 4-year starter in all three sports.
He was named all-state in both football and basketball during his senior year after earning that honor in football as a junior.
Last fall, Bohannon quarterbacked Elco to the Section 4 title and to a berth in the PIAA District AAAA title game. He was named L-L League Section Four Back, Offensive Back and Defensive Back of the Year. In the abbreviated season, he led the league in rushing from his QB position with 990 yards and was second in touchdowns scored with 17.
During the winter, Bohannon was named to the PIAA Class AAAA All-State second-team after averaging 17.9 points per game while leading the Raiders to a 12-8 season. He was lone returning starter from the successful 2019-20 Elco team that advanced into the state playoffs.
Bohannon finish his Elco basketball career with 1,448 points which placed him second on the school’s all-time list.
In the spring, he split his time pitching or playing outfield for Elco baseball, while running 100 and 200 meters for the school’s track and field team.
Bohannon attends Lebanon Valley College, where he is playing football and plans to play basketball after football season ends. He was the starting quarterback for the Flying Dutchmen in his first collegiate game.
