Barry Henry

Barry Henry was the Head Basketball Coach at Pequea Valley HS (‘57-’59) and at Hempfield HS (’59-’73). His Hempfield teams won two Lancaster County Championships (’61 & ’62) and a District 3 Championship (’62). In 1962 he was named Coach of the Year.

Henry is a graduate of Manheim Central HS where he played football, basketball and baseball. At Millersville State College he played basketball and baseball.

And in Henry’s younger years playing as a pitcher in the City-County Baseball League, he was 14-1 for the Manheim team and later 13-1 for the Lititz team.
